(On left: in Hong Kong, a night out with the girls, whom I miss)At some point you have to go out and at least let other people know you're alive (and perhaps in process figure out reasons why staying in is better).
What does "a night out" mean?
(Going out to watch a movie and then hanging out with friends at a coffee place technically doesn't count. You can do better than that!).
Where I used to live (Hong Kong), a night out was like this: start with a few drinks at a quite-ish bar, eat, go to another bar, move to yet another bar or maybe a club this time, stop to eat, go to another bar, (and if you're really wasted, you may find yourself in a bar where the working girls go), take a taxi/ walk home and . . . pass out. Repeat if desired.
Where I live now (Singapore), something similar happens, but so far it has gone this way for me: meet at one quiet-ish bar, order something to eat, order more drinks (still at the same bar), get kicked out of the bar because they close at 1 AM, move on to a club or go to somebody's flat to polish of the Duty Free booze.
Either way, and if there's one thing that you should take away from all this, a proper night out involves alcohol intake. Lots of it. Otherwise, it doesn't count ;-P.
